With the warmer weather fast approaching, many of us are looking forward to our first BBQ but before you fire up the Barbie please be aware of the following:

Never give your dog any cooked bones, they can splinter when chewed and become razor sharp when digested or large pieces may break off becoming lodge in the food pipe.·
Something as simple as giving your chop bone to your dog could become life threatening, as experienced recently.·
BBQ’s left unattended are an attraction to your dog or cat and many paws have been seriously burned trying to reach the snag!Following these simple pointers will make BBQ season safer for all.
