CAT FIGHT WOUNDS
Is your feline friend a little off color lately?
Spring and Summer brings an increase of cats roaming and inevitably fighting, desexing can reduce the chance of this happening, in the interim here are a few pointers to look out for:
· Generally off colour, off food
· Not wanting to be picked up, sensitive to touch
· Anti-social, a little grumpy
· Raised area under skin (lump of any size)
· Weepy areas over coat
Cat fight wounds become infected very quickly and can make them extremely sick.
Wounds require Veterinary attention and often antibiotics, so if you notice any of the above please speak to one of our qualified staff.
