LOOSING HAIR…CONSTANTLY?

Many pets at the moment seem to be shedding hair constantly, instead of the normal spring cycle…why?

Our erratic weather patterns may be the cause, even our deciduous trees and shrubs are not quite sure whether they should or shouldn’t?

Generally dogs and cats shed their coats ongoing throughout the year but more so as the warmer month’s progress, at the moment we are experiencing constant fluctuations in temperature, therefore the “normal” loss of hair may be a little “abnormal”.

The following hair loss is not normal and should be checked by our vets:

· Patches of complete hair loss

· Sparse hair with reddened skin

· Constant scratching causing hairs loss

· Flat looking coats, with matted areas
