OBESITY
A high cost to your animals health!
The risk of obesity in our animal’s increases as soon as the energy ingested is greater than the energy used.
Signs: layer of fat on the pet’s back or tail base, exercise or heat intolerance, ribs not easily felt.
Risks: cardiovascular, liver, joint, skin or gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes mellitus and increased anesthetic risks.
Tips to reduce the risk of obesity:

limit snacks / treats·
Exercise and play regularly·
Feed 2 small meals at the same time every day·
Remove left over food after 20 minutes·
