Many of us buy toys to amuse our pets, but are they safe; toys safe for babies are not always safe for our pets, especially parrots.
Please be aware of:

Large parrots can break plastic and metal parts, causing choking and death·
Plastic baby rattles can be opened and beaks and tongues can become caught·
Rope toys are dangerous if chewed and string may cause tangling and loss of circulation in toes and legs, even strangulation.·
Wooden toys that are treated are lethal to parrots and can cause immediate death.Ensure you buy toys from a reputable pet supplier and if you are concerned about your parrot, speak to one of our staff.
