· “Parvo” can live in the environment for several years

· Transmitted on the soles of your shoes, from one home to the next or down the street.

· Extremely contagious

· Death is almost inevitable

· Spring brings with it an increase of new puppies and if not vaccinated at 8 and 12 weeks, chances of survival is minimal.

· Adult dogs MUST be vaccinated every year against parvo to help protect the pups.
