WASPS

This year we are seeing an increasing amount of wasps about, and just like you and I our pets are more at risk of being stung.

A wasp sting to is extremely uncomfortable and if stung around the face or airways, can cause medical problems.

If you think that your pet has been stung, or notice any of the following symptoms, please have your pet checked by a Vet.

Symptoms:

· Constant scratching or licking at one area on their body or face.

· Inconsolable crying or fretting

· Lameness / not wanting to place a foot down

· Swelling around a single site on the body

· Swelling around mouth / face should be seen by a Vet immediately as it may affect their breathing.
